The Land
When I first bought the land it was a scrappy field full of thistles and bramble patches... One summer I spend more time than I like to think about obsessively pulling them all out, planting hazel and apple trees and mowing the grass repetitively like a lunatic. It slowly started to take shape and become more and more beautiful. Everything here is reclaimed or reused, most things are made from old pallets. Car boots and skips seem to have everything else I ever need. The land has been cleansed and cleared of old negative energies and is filled with protection, peace, positivity . It is full of crystals and also has EMF radiation protection.
To me it feels like the perfect place to ground, centre, laugh and unwind. Stay in a little cabin or pitch a tent, sit around the campfire and take in the vast open sky.
Juniper is open for guests some of June, August and part of September (I also sometimes add spaces in half term breaks too). If you're really keen for particular dates that aren't up just give me a call and I will see what I can do.
I hope you love it here as much as me... Can't wait to meet you.

I am a single mum and a full time
painter & decorator. I love all things
to do with design and construction.
I am enthusiastic, passionate and
obsessed with colour and space on
every level. I love design and the
transition of everything is what
makes me tick. I am as into energy
and working on myself spiritually as I
am into grafting hard and building
things with my hands.
I think this project initially began
for me when I started renovating
my last house in Cowes from top to bottom, my daughter who was 3 at the time was always sitting on a bit of chip board as I started knocking down walls and laying underfloor heating, designing and building the kitchen and learning to plaster. I really enjoyed learning how to do what needed to be done. I ended up loving the process of improving a space so much, that after I had finished renovating and had had a few years to recuperate, I then saw this field in beautiful Gurnard in 2019 and sold my home to buy it. I was determined to make a house for me and my daughter on the budget I had and so designed and built my own tiny off grid eco home. When I had finished and moved in, I then started to collect old second hand sheds that I kept getting donated by my paining & decorating clients ( the universe is damn good at nudging in the right direction!)... slowly the idea of sharing this beautiful space started to grow and build in my mind.
And here I am starting to rent the space out and it feels really wonderful. The few guests I have had so far have been absolutely lovey and it has been a pleasure to share this amazing space.
