Check in 15:00 - Check out 11:00 - But if you would like to leave your luggage just let me know. 

 

Dogs - Dogs on leads are totally welcome as we have cats and ponies and lots of nesting wildlife.  There are lots of lovely walks near by. We just don't let dogs on beds.

Kids - The site isn't set up for children, (electric fences, ground solar panels etc...) but if you feel like your child/children are really savvy about the countryside and respectful and careful in new environments they are totally welcome. 

​

Shower - Will be warm in most conditions, but if too windy the flame blows out. Hey, nothing like a cold shower to boost the immune system! 

​

Water - There are several cold water taps on site and fresh filtered water jugs provided at all times. 

​

Washing - Laundry load, washed, dried and folded - £10

​

Nearest shop - Nisa local - 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Aldi 50 minute walk or 7 minute drive.

Local Pub - The Travellers Joy - 20 minute walk , half road, half field walk. 

​

Electric/WIFI  -  No electric or wifi in any of the huts or cabins. Full electric in outdoor kitchen for phone and laptop charging. We provide lamps in all huts that we recharge for you every day. 

​

Toilet - The toilets are composting, and we have 2 on site. One is built into a small outbuilding and one is the basic bucket composting toilet. After you have been to the loo you just add a handful of sawdust. Normal toilet roll is used as it decomposes completely. Sanitary products with no plastic will also decompose, so are fine to use too. 

​

On Foot/Cycling  - Lots of guests come on foot or bike. The site is a 1 hour walk or 20 min cycle from the red jet foot passenger terminal in West Cowes.

There is a bike shelter with places to lock up to 4 bikes.

If you are on foot and I am able to, I am always happy to pick up or drop off on my way to or from work so just ask.
